The Epson DG Cotton Pretreatment is designed to work on fabrics with high cotton fibre content.

It works with garments with 50% or more Cotton (for fabric containing 50% or more polyester use Epson DG Polyester Pretreatment instead).

Changes with Version 2 Pretreatment.

• Reduced yellowing on printed images over time (UV effect)

Epson Pre-Treatment liquid comes as a concentrate in

• 5 litre bottles (when diluted makes 5 litres)
• 20 litre box (when diluted makes 40 litres)

Preparation:

For dark fabric garments generally dilute

1 part pretreat to 1 part distilled water to 1 part pretreat to 3 part distilled water. 

How to use:

Make sure to shake pretreatment before applying.

Ensure that all lint and pilling is removed before applying pretreat.

Can be applied by spray gun, roller or with pretreat machine. Make sure to adjust nozzles when changing between pretreats.

Before printing on garments evenly apply the pre-treatment liquid (customers should follow their user guide for instructions).  Make sure the pretreatment is cured on a heat press before printing. 

Use with:

Epson pretreatment can be used with Epson Ultrachrome DG inks and with DTGTex DuPont Artistry Inks.

Safety Rating:

When applied and fixed to cotton fabric the ink passes the requirements of the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 for human ecological requirements of Class 1 products for adults, children, and babies up to 36 months. The Oeko-Tex Standard 100 specifies testing criteria for the presence of harmful substances within a textile product. The standard belongs to the International Association for Research and Testing in the field of Textile Ecology (Oeko-Tex).
