MetaGuard MG-i is the matched overlaminate for Metamark MD-i.
It is 70 micron polymeric film has a solvent adhesive that gives a high level of abrasion resistance and contains UV stabilisers. It can be applied onto flat or simple curved surfaces.
Using this material -
- Before using make sure the material has reached room temperature and a relative humidity of 50%.
- Suitable for cold lamination with use with a laminator.
- Can be used on Metamark printed media with Solvent, Eco Solvent and Latex inks. Do not use with UV printed media.
- Allow inks to cure for 24 to 48 hours before over-laminating. Note that if you don't allow this time you may get delamination, tunneling and shrinkage.
