Roland DG Film was designed specifically for Roland DTF printers. When used in the appropriate models it produces exceptional results. 760mm media can be used in the TY series including the new TY-300i while 510mm media can be used for same as well as the BN and BY series including the new BY2-20
The direct-to-film (DTF) process starts with printing designs onto DTF transfer rolls. These prints are then coated with a thermo-adhesive powder and transferred to your chosen substrate using a heat press.
DTF transfers made with Roland DG DTF Printers can be applied to a wide range of fabrics, including polyester, and are ideal for decorating challenging garment colours like blue, green, red, and yellow.
Print with the BN-20D or BY-20 using S-PG2 inks on S-F164 transfer film to achieve consistent, high-quality results every time with Roland DG's reliable direct-to-film workflow.
Please note: personal protective equipment (ie an N95 mask, safety goggles and gloves) must be worn when working with DTF. Hot melt powders should also be applied at least 5m away from your printer to avoid potential damage to its internals.
