Epson UltraChrome DG2 Ink for SureColor F2260

Epson UltraChrome DG2 Ink is designed for Direct-to-Garment (DTG) and Direct-to-Film (DTFilm/DTF) production with the Epson SureColor F2260.

DG2 features an enhanced formulation designed to provide improved colour and definition with less bleed across a wider range of media. It is available in convenient pouch formats for easy loading and replacement.

Epson UltraChrome DG2 Ink

Epson DG2 ink is designed for DTG and DTFilm/DTF production, supporting a range of fabrics and media.

The ink adheres best to fabrics with a moderate-to-loose weave and high cotton content. It can also be used with natural, man-made and mixed-fibre fabrics, although results may vary.

Fabrics with a fine weave, extremely smooth finish, or water- or dirt-repellent treatment may be better suited to a DTFilm/DTF workflow.

For new fabric types, films, powders or workflows, Epson recommends carrying out print and wash-durability testing before commencing volume production.

Colour, Fabric & Media Compatibility

DG2 provides flexibility across a range of fabrics, films and powders for DTG and DTFilm/DTF production.

Results can vary depending on the fabric, film and powder combination, so testing is recommended before production.

Diethylene Glycol-Free Formulation

Epson DG2 ink features a Diethylene Glycol-free formulation designed to provide a safer working environment for operators.

When affixed to fabric, garments meet the requirements of the Oeko-Tex Eco Passport standard for safe use by adults, children and babies up to 36 months.

Convenient Pouch Packaging

Epson UltraChrome DG2 ink is supplied in pouches that are quick to load and easy to replace.

For optimum results:

• Use the ink before the date specified on the packaging.

• Once opened, use within one year.

• Remove and shake the pouches vigorously each day before reinsertion.

Printer Maintenance

Epson DTG printers incorporate continuous self-cleaning and ink recirculation functions.

If the printer is not expected to be used for more than a week, Epson recommends leaving the equipment switched on. If the printer is to be moved or is not expected to be used for several weeks, the extended shutdown process should be performed.
