The Epson SureColor F1060 features integrated self-cleaning and incorporates a number of consumable components that periodically need to be replaced.
It is important that these components are replaced according to the schedule and process listed in the user manual and/or advised by the printer.
If required maintenance is not performed in a timely and correct manner, it may cause problems with the printer, cessation of operation, invalidation of the warranty and/or the terms of a Service Pack.
The F1060 uses a standard maintenance tank instead of a waste ink bottle. There is no need for decanting — the maintenance tank is simply replaced when full.
The printer also uses maintenance liquid to keep the print head lubricated and assist with automatic cleaning.
One maintenance liquid pouch is supplied with each printer, along with a:
Flushing unit
Capping unit
These maintenance components are user replaceable, and the printer will prompt when replacement is required.
Always follow the Epson SureColor F1060 user manual and the maintenance instructions provided by the printer when replacing consumable maintenance components.
