Our Founder: From Graphic Design to Printing Solutions
Machines Plus was founded in 2014 by Gus Altmann, a graphic designer with a long-standing passion for print technology, streetwear and creative production.
Gus began his professional career in 1992, working in design and screen printing. After moving to Australia in 2002, he continued his creative work in Melbourne, combining his design background with a growing interest in printing technology and its possibilities for businesses.
His experience in design, printing applications and equipment helped shape the direction of Machines Plus: a business built around understanding what customers want to achieve and helping them find the right tools to make it happen.
Industry Expertise That Runs Deep
With decades of experience across design and printing, Gus brings practical industry knowledge to Machines Plus. His background as a certified Service Engineer and Application Specialist for Roland DG helped establish the technical foundation behind the business.
Since its establishment, Machines Plus has grown to support businesses using a broad range of printing technologies, including DTG, DTF, UV, dye sublimation, print-and-cut and heat transfer solutions.
As a Roland DG Authorised Dealer and Epson Platinum Premium Partner, we combine product knowledge with a hands-on understanding of printing applications, helping customers make informed decisions about their equipment and production needs.
